About TW David Speer Academy

We are Noble’s first STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) campus among its network of 18 campuses. We opened our doors in 2014 to 300 students in the City of Chicago. Speer Academy is focused on preparing students to graduate from college with STEM degrees to meet our workforce’s demands. Students are exposed to rigorous college preparatory classes, participate in college courses on a college campus, have access to a state-of-the-art educational and athletic facilities, and more. Our students will have the opportunity to participate in a STEM internship during their senior year with Fortune 500 companies.

Support Our Wrestling Program!

Our wrestling program launched just two seasons ago with 25 student-athletes and has already achieved exciting milestones, including its first State Qualifier and a Girls' team placing in the Top 10 in Chicago. As the team enters its third year, participation is expected to grow to more than 50 student-athletes across girls, junior varsity, and varsity levels.

To support this growth, the program is seeking additional funding for essential needs such as equipment, new uniforms, tournament entry fees, and extra mat space to ensure safe practices for all athletes. Every contribution helps student athletes continue to train, compete, and represent Speer with pride.

Support Our Softball Program!

The ITW David Speer Academy Softball program has been a source of pride in the Belmont Cragin community for the past six seasons, consistently delivering strong results both on and off the field. Under the program’s current leadership, Speer Softball has finished in the Top 10 in the city and region each year, maintained a 3.45 team GPA, and celebrated the graduation of 27 seniors, all of whom earned college scholarships across the United States. As the program continues to grow and build on this success, the team is seeking additional funding to support essential needs such as uniforms and team gear, equipment, and travel costs throughout the season. These resources ensure student-athletes have a high-quality, equitable experience and help reduce financial barriers for families. Every contribution directly supports student-athletes by strengthening the program’s ability to compete, represent Speer with pride, and continue its tradition of excellence in the classroom and on the field.

Support our Baseball Program!

The Speer Academy Baseball Program is entering its second season of growth and momentum, building on a standout year as the defending Noble Conference Champions. The team finished just one game shy of a regional championship – an achievement that reflects the discipline, teamwork, and dedication of Speer student-athletes.

The baseball program is grounded in excellence both on and off the field, emphasizing athletic development, academic commitment, and character building. Through competitive play and structured training, the program provides students with meaningful opportunities to grow as teammates, leaders, and young adults.

While the baseball program receives core funding from Speer Academy to support standard operating needs, this fundraising effort is intended to be fully supplemental. Contributions raised through this page do not replace or reduce campus funding; instead, they enhance the program by expanding access to equipment, training, and resources that elevate the overall student-athlete experience.

To support the continued success and sustainability of the program, Speer Academy is seeking to raise $5,000 for supplemental needs, including:

Team equipment (bats, gloves, and other essential gear)
Field maintenance (approximately $160 per month)
Umpire fees for non-conference games ($100 per umpire; two umpires per game)
A secure storage box for the field
Practice and training gear
Camps and skill-development programs for student-athletes

Every contribution, at any level, directly supports Speer student-athletes by providing resources that go beyond baseline funding and help ensure a safe, competitive, and enriching athletic experience. Thank you for supporting the Speer Academy Baseball Program and helping strengthen opportunities for students on and off the field.
